Independence Day
Today, India is celebrating Independence Day. Ever year on 15th of August we celebrates freedom from British rule. Independence day is a national holiday because India became an Independent country on 15, August, 1947. People in India homage to their freedom fighters and leaders who fought for India's freedom. President delivers the speech to our nation. Prime Minister unfurls the Indian Flag and holds the speech at the Red Fort in Delhi. Many activities happen like flag hosting ceremonies, cultural program, holding speeches,etc. Many people spend their day with their friends, family members and relatives and they love to do picnic, kite flying and exchange greeting with each others.
Let's salute to those freedom fighters who sacrificed their life for our country. It's the day to remember and honor them. Freedom is our birth right and it snatched away by Britishers from us but our nation earned this freedom after done great sacrifices. Let's pledge and make it happen!
A big salute to them on this independence day. Our motherland is our identity and pride and our freedom is earned.
