Cabin Crew

The members on flight crew who attend to passengers. A Cabin Crew members also known as Flight Attendants, Stewards, Air Hosts. A Cabin Crew member's duty  is to provide excellent services to the passengers. As a Cabin Crew member you have to take care of every passenger. As a Cabin Crew member you will ensure that every emergency equipments are in flight. 


Responsibilities of a Cabin Crew Member



  • Provide excellent services to the passengers.


  • Check the safety equipments, check the security system and also check that aircraft is clean.



  • Give First Aid to passengers when necessary and also in emergency situation.



  • Serving refreshment and food to passengers.



  • Check all seat-belts and oxygen masks are secure before take off air craft.



  • Ensure passengers for follow all safety procedures correctly in emergency situation.


  Requirements and Qualification

  • Minimum you should be 12th passed only with any stream. And your English should be best.

  • Good communication skills and self confidence while dealing with some one.

  • Height demand of every airlines remains different. But minimum height should be 5.6 Feets for male, and 5.2 Feets for female.

  • If you are in a International Airlines then requirement of swimming is must. But for Domestic Airlines swimming is not compulsory.

  • Capability to work quickly and efficiently and ability to face any problem in emergency situation.

  • No visible tattoo on your body and minimum age should be 18 years for domestic airlines and 21 years for international airlines.

  Selection Process and Salary in Cabin Crew

For join as a Cabin Crew in any airlines, First of all a candidate has to give Interview, There are two rounds in interview and if a candidate clears both round of interview and then medical checkup if that candidate also passed in medical checkup and then that candidate will be selected. After selection he has to take the training of three months. In training a person gets to learn every thing about cabin crew and after completing the training he becomes a cabin crew member.
Salary Depends on flying hours, In every airlines there is no fix working shifts usually it involves irregular working hours. Working shift can be in early morning, in evening, in midnight there is no fix time. Salary is on your working hours and flying hours and every airlines has different salary packages for cabin crew members. But still the minimum salary of a cabin crew member is Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 24,000 per month. With salary you get a chance to travel in many places, big cities, different different countries. Job of cabin crew member is a adventurous.
