Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is a professional certification for financial planners conferred by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP) Board in the United States and also from 25 other organisation which are affiliated by Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB). It's a International Certificate.For achieve this certificate you need education, examination and you have to pay certification fee.
Education requirements and Eligibility
The candidate requires to 12th Passed from any stream. And you must have a bachelor's degree from a recoganised college or university. After passing CFP Exam you need to complete your bachelor's degree with in five years then you become eligible for take CFP Board Certification Examination.
Examination
The CFP Certification exam is multiple choice, 170 questions, into two session. Candidate has to complete 3 hours exams of two session. There are 5 levels exam in CFP Certification. Exam helds on every week. You have to attend CFP exam 5 days regularly. Registration Fees Rs 10,000. And fees of 1st 4 Level Exam is RS 3,540 and last level exam fees Rs 7,540. After completing CFP Certification you can go for many professions like Port Folio Management, Financial Planner, Business Analyser, etc. And you can also apply for job in any company and also you can have good salary. It's a good certification and there is good career after completing Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
